P-40 Warhawk “Flying Tiger” Illustration

What Was Done

I illustrated this P-40 Warhawk “Flying Tiger” Illustration for a t-shirt design to be sold at US air museums and air shows. Working closely with an art director and a World War II enthusiast, we built the model airplane and took various photos of it at different angels. This illustration was one of a dozen in a series of WWII war plane designs.

I used Adobe Illustrator to do the technical line art and insignias, and Adobe Photoshop to airbrush the plane.

Scope of work:

  • Print files prepared for six-color silk screen printing
  • Printer facilitation for t-shirts
