“I would love to endorse you, your work is amazing!”
What Was Done
I designed this bear mascot logo to enrich the school spirit for my local elementary in Scotts Valley CA. Most of the bear logos I have seen are mean and aggressive, even threatening. So instead, I took a friendlier approach to the design and made the bear bright eyed and smiling—the way elementary students should be.
The final design was applied as a mural which I painted outside the school lunchroom. It is also printed on stickers which are being sold to students and parents, and all the proceeds go back to the PTA.
My ultimate goal is to design mascot logos to be incorporated in some way for all four of the Scotts Valley Unified School District (SVUSD) schools. A dolphin logo for the middle school, a falcon logo for the high school, and an eagle logo for the second elementary school. Three more schools to go!
Scope of work:
- 6' X 6', three-color, hand-painted mural
- Print files prepared for printing
- Printer facilitation for stickers
