“This looks really great! Very clean and easy to use.”
What Was Done
I helped design the California Health Education for Orange County Department of Education. This single page, responsive, accessibility compliant website was the point of resource for ordering California Standards/Skill posters.
The California Standards/Skill posters are hung in hundreds of school classrooms in California school districts. These posters help support thousands of instructors who are teaching their students the importance of health and well-being.
Colors and typography decisions used in the designs and on the website were decided based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design.
Scope of work:
- Website Design (for desktop computers, tablets, and phones)
- Poster Layout
- Icons
- Style Guide (colors chosen to meet accessibility compliance)
